A former Corrèze farm transformed into a 4-star family campsite, our haven of peace and greenery cultivates a rare simplicity: that of true holidays, featuring wide-open spaces, conviviality, and rediscovered freedom.

Tucked between Lot and the Périgord Noir, Corrèze doesn’t always make the front page of travel magazines. And yet… here, there are no rushed crowds or overexploited landscapes. You can enjoy an authentic change of scenery far from the tourist throngs. Nearly half of the department is wooded, with dense forests, waterfalls like those in Gimel, and the Millevaches Regional Natural Park for immersive hikes. The Dordogne river is perfect for fishing, river swimming, or canoeing. The Dordogne Valley, designated a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, winds from Bort-les-Orgues to Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, offering deep gorges, dam lakes, and breathtaking viewpoints in a preserved setting.
Our story: a family farm turned campsite
Over 30 years ago
Every campsite has a story: ours is a family one, rooted in the Dordogne valley. Before becoming a campsite, this place was a farm. In the 1970s, campers would come to pitch their tents by the water in this still-wild spot in southern Corrèze. The owners had the idea to turn it into a real campsite.
The pool was built in the 1990s, followed by the bar, the first mobile homes, and then the playgrounds. Today, Camping Au Soleil d’Oc is managed by the same family.
Murielle and Christian welcome you as they would friends: with simplicity and kindness. Here, we cultivate the “old-fashioned” camping spirit: family-oriented, natural, and sincere. A campsite in Corrèze that doesn’t try to do too much, but tries to do it right.
Camping Au Soleil d’Oc covers three hectares with 99 pitches, including 64 accommodations. We welcome you from April 30 to November 21, 2026.

Camping here means choosing the essentials: a tent, a caravan, or a motorhome set on a spacious pitch (100 to 140 m²), shaded, flowered, and bordered by hedges. You can opt for a riverside pitch, with your feet almost in the water, or a nature pitch in the heart of the wooded park. All have electricity, a nearby water point, and comfortable, carefully maintained sanitary facilities. Some pitches even offer private bathrooms. Motorhome users benefit from a dedicated area for emptying and refilling.
